A PERSONALIZED APPROACH TO LEARNING
Empowering Students to Choose Their Own Path
No two 学生 learn the same way. At Connections Academy, we not only accept that fact, we embrace it. Our online model gives us the flexibility to tailor individual learning plans to each student’s needs and strengths, allowing them to learn how they learn best. We work in collaboration with parents, who act as their student’s Learning Coach, to make sure that we’re aligned on the best curriculum approach.
Here are just a few of the ways we collaborate with you to develop your student’s learning plan for success in online school:
- Reviewing student background and academic history: Teachers, 学习教练, and 学生 discuss strengths, 技能, and previous performance to inform each student’s educational journey.
- Evaluating test performance: Students are tested in math, 阅读, and English/language arts to help measure progress and establish learning 目标.
- Setting 目标: Teachers and 学习教练 work together as a team to set 目标 for the student’s personal and academic growth.
